What is Web X.0?

Web X.0 is the final generation of the Web 1.0, Web 2.0, Web 3.0 progressions. The progression so far has lead to where the web part of the Internet is the platform and becomes a total database for all to share and not only to share, but to give input to as well.

Web X.0 represents the end point, the ultimate web, the final destination of the single platform of ultimate information giving, gathering, and sharing.

In Web X.0 the user determines the presentation, functionality is completely transparent and content flows into mind, not in the serialized slowness of reading words or hearing sounds but as a parallel torrent, switching from concept to concept until an exact match is found with information desire and information fulfillment resulting in new information being returned to the source.

The social implications of such an inevitable system are enormous. Anything you need to know, you can know. If you want to understand the Theory of Relativity you can, because it will be presented to you in such a variety of ways, from pure mathematics, to pure visualizations where the prefect presentation for you will match your learning style and current background knowledge.

The appliances for this exchange of information will be inexpensive and ubiquitous. They will be obtainable by all people in all places in all languages, adaptable to all cultures.

Such a system could have far reaching political affects, where individuals rather than elected representatives could actually participate in the law-making process.
